Principles of Youthnet Hellas

Inline with the ideal of humanity, freedom, independence, democracy, peaceful coexistence of peoples, equality, social solidarity, justice.

In honour of the fights for the independence of people and respect for human rights

With regard to the commitment of youth to doubt and overturn injustice

We envision and call for a citizen-centered society, a fair and merit-based, active and effective, socially sensitive and subversive society with active participation of youth at local, national and supranational level.

Objectives of Youthnet Hellas

• The institutional promotion of youth participation at local, national, European and international level.
• The establishment of advisory processes by strengthening the institutional role of NGOs at local, national and European level.
• The deepening of the multi-cultural dialogue and the dialogue in relation to active citizenship, social problems and social exclusion.
• The promotion of youth policies and information in issues concerning the new generation.
• The promotion of social intervention for young people in relation to the development of active citizenship
• The protection of children and youth rights and promoting their complete implementation in the family and society
• The contribution to ensuring the quality of life through dialogue and action on environmental education and awareness raising to protect the natural environment
• The promotion of education and respect for democracy, peace and human rights.
• The participation and organization of measures for economic and social development of developing countries to strengthen their democratic institutions, to develop civil society and respect for human rights including the provision of humanitarian help, food and development assistance.
